Although the program to expose the poison issue via Indian TV was always on our agenda, this particular effort was engineered by a breakaway contingent of BIF's former members. Without consultation, they prematurely triggered a promotion using information garnered from our database and in which they exercised no direction or control. Further, they lacked the insight to request an internationally accepted lingual franca i.e.. English, instead, we got a program presented in indigenous patois. This faux pas resulted in the exclusion of all English speaking peoples and media. We could not possibly allow the link to remain on our site considering the weight of its fallacy.

In one word, NO. STAR TV interviewed two of BIF's ex members on the show. Any observer could see that the stand taken by these devotees lacked credence. They appeared to be passerbys who just happened to be in camera range when interviews were in progress. There was no strength or affirmation in anything they said. The truth is that both devotees interviewed are obligated to Iskcon as tenants and have friends within cult management. As a result of this weakness, Jayapataka Swami's negation (on camera) of the issue as being one instigated by a few rebellious devotees promoting a 'ritvik' agenda, was accepted by the Indian public as the whole and only reason for the media report. Time has proven this to be the case. Below I am including an excerpt (in red) taken from my observations addressed to the members involved at the time. Names have been removed and replaced with *** as a precaution.

The entire broadcast hinged on audio evidence, yet not once did we see/hear the Owen/Mitchell Reports. In leiu we have *******saying that the poison whispers were discovered by some "senior leading devotees", as if the holy ears of senior leading devotees are enough to confirm murder. Then the facts are further confounded when ******** says- some hear "The swellings going down" while others hear " The poisons going down". This is bunkum, and you know it. BIF worked hard to expose David Neal as an uncertified 'sound mixer', who, without understanding the consequences, accepted AUD$ 200 to say- "The swellings going down". When we trapped and challenged him he retracted his statement. The only existing 'analyses' comes from Owen/ Mitchell. They both confirm- 'The poisons going down". There is no dubiety in this conclusion.

Why was there no contact email/add/phone # posted for BIF on the TV program? To believe that the station has contact details of interviewees is inconsequential. No influential member of the public will contact media (the media has no respect for privacy/anonymity) with a showing of interest or support. Any intelligent would-be-supporter will seek to establish direct contact on his/her own terms before making an educated decision on further involvement. So not having direct public access to BIF will prove detrimental to any media campaign seeking pro bono support. Amongst other related matters it is truly what BIF needs the media to accomplish.

The "Not That I Am Poisoned" (NTIP) publication was ordered by Tamal Krishna, financed by Bhakti Caru, researched and written by a disciple of Jayapataka, produced by a disciple of Tamal Krishna, and the foreword was written by Dev Amrita ("women are like toilets". "Holy Cow") Swami. Except for the starry eyed disciples and Dev Amrita (who was prepared to say or do anything as thanks for his reinstatement into main stream iskcon), the others are direct suspects in the alleged poisoning of ISKCON's Acarya Dev, A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. We are ever grateful to Sri Krishna for prompting the culprits and their goons into exposing themselves via the NTIP publication. The dubious behavior of those mentioned, and their dire attempts to deflect the facts/need for a comprehensive investigation, was thoroughly exposed in our book "Judge For Yourself". The protocols for BIF were held by a devotee who registered the site and made annual payments. He was part of the think tank that saw no further need for my involvement in the issue. Perhaps he believed the momentum to bring out the truth would increase without my personal input....it did not. Whether the group was too busy with other commitments I cannot say, but what quickly became apparent was that all attempts to move the issue forward came to an abrupt halt. My involvement with the breakaway group had ceased prior to and completely after the STAR TV program, via a letter posted by the secretary sometime later. An excerpt (in red) from which I am posting below:

Sakshi asks that I advise you Prabhus (he has already advised me) that he wants to, henceforth, formally and totally, disassociate himself from the Team. He doesn't want to be in any way implicated in the affairs or doings of the Team. He asks that it be made known in this email that he has not been a member of the Team for over a year. He asks that this message be legally admissible in the event that any legal circumstance should arise. He also asks that the Team stop using the name Bhaktivedanta Investigation Force (BIF) and that the Team change it's name (and the website) to some other name. It goes without saying that BIF material can still be used because it's in the public domain.

In recent negotiations the web site has once again been released into BIF's keeping with the hope that devotees be informed re. the poison issue and any other nefarious ongoings that define the current Iskcon and its Governing Body Commission.

>>A writ was filed at the Supreme Court on 11th April 2005. The writ, containing the names of four plaintiffs, was guided by the Supreme Court to the Allahabad High Court for expedition. This writ is not to be confused with the already existing writ that was lodged at High Court Allahabad on 16th Nov. '04.

Our petition to the Supreme Court was to simply deal with the matter by issuing a writ to the CBI ordering an investigation into the alleged poisoning of His Divine Grace. The Supreme Court informed us that the alleged crime was perpetuated within the jurisdiction of Mathura Police Station, as such, our petition should be lodged at the Allahabad High Court. The Allahabad HC heard our plea and contacted local police requesting they lodge a First Information Report (FIR). The Mathura Police claimed that no complaint had been registered ergo no FIR had been prepared. The Allahabad HC then advised us to follow process by registering/reregistering a complaint. Our lawyer was already familiar with the procedures of local police long before we came to this juncture. She had already advised that once we arrived at this blockade, we would take our complaint back to the Supreme Court, and simultaneously to the media, where the final episode would unravel in full public view. At this point in our pursuit for justice, the BIF team was slowly falling apart for (i concluded) two basic reasons : 1. Finance, which seemed to be reaching totals beyond our means of sustainability, and 2. Whereas our crusade was previously carried out from behind the safety of anonymity, the situation now demanded we stand before the world's media and be identified. This may not sound so daunting when sitting on a sofa reflecting on the commitment of others, but in reality, it can be quite confronting. Anyhow, I am posting below an excerpt from my reply to a concerned devotee, which should give you a clearer idea of the situation at the time:

Devotee: The issue before us now is will her (our lawyer) pursuing the Supreme Court case cause the case to be thrown out due to the lack of an FIR (First Information Report) that must be generated by the government. ******* is taking the view that without the FIR the case will be thrown out, and we will not be able to approach the Supreme Court on this matter again.

BIF's reply : Thanks for the opportunity to explain this vital point in our case. It is of great importance so please file for future reference.

Although I did prepare and post an FIR on our BIF web site, it was done to brief and assist Indian law enforcement. Please understand that an FIR can only be lodged by law enforcement. We as citizens can only register petitions/complaints. Kindly refer to my Petition to the Allahabad High Court, page10 B:

"That upon receiving information disclosing commission of a cognizable offence, the mandate of Sections 154 & 156 Cr. P.C. is that the police shall register an FIR and proceed to investigate the matter...."

And again in our 'PRAYER' to the Court- page 12 a):.. "...to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ, order/direction to the Respondent No.3/CBI to register the case/FIR and investigate the matter;"

You can clearly see that we were requesting the Court to order the CBI to register an FIR and begin an investigation. The fact that the CBI did not register an FIR is no fault of ours. In fact, we always knew that the Allahabad Court did not have the power to order the CBI to do anything. We simply registered the petition in Allahabad Court because the alleged crime was perpetrated in their jurisdiction. We had no choice. But what we always knew, was that when the Allahabad Court threw us out, the doors of appeal would open to the Supreme Court, and there is where our battle for justice for our Srila Prabhupada will be fought and won.

Although there has been a falling out in all directions, please remain confident in the fact that our pre-conceived strategy is perfectly in place. (end)

So Kurma Das Pr., as you already know from events that unfolded, we did not pursue our case to the Supreme Court. One major obstacle being finance. The lawyer wanted a staggering twenty-five lakhs for the Allahabad HC writ alone (after having already rec. US 20,000.) Then she demanded a further US 7,000 simply to lodge the appeal at the Supreme Court in Delhi. We always knew that the Indian media would be our greatest asset in helping raise funds and/or legal assistance pro bono. However, as I have already informed you, that objective was pre empted with a watered down version of BIF's strategy, by some, who should never have attempted to do what they didn't have the balls for.

So what was the thrust of that writ, and in what manner did the Allahabad High Court deal with that writ?

The hijacking of ISKCON that happened in the wake of the disappearance of our glorious Srila Prabhupada reflects so intensely now in the deplorable state of the world. So all glories to your service to uncover and expose the truth.
